Although the Festival & Fire Muster is now FREE to enter, we get many requests each year to create and sell our custom designed collector Burnsville Festival & Fire Muster buttons.

The new 2024 Festival Button is ready now!
The button is available for purchase online for $7.00 plus $5.00 shipping and handling -OR- you may purchase one at the Festival in our 2 large Beer tents or at our Information Tent.

In 2024 we conducted a Button Contest with the Burnsville High School Art students.

The winning button was designed by Emma DeBilzon!

Emmas design captured the spirit of honoring our fallen heroes in 2024 and were so proud to award her 1st place and offer this design as our official 2024 Burnsville Festival & Fire Muster Collector Button.

Ken Peterson Honorary Button.

This button is not for sale, however buttons were produced and will be given to the MNFEC to distribute to members.
Janet Peterson, Ken’s widow, was gracious enough to design this button to honor Ken’s life as a Fire Truck Collector, and community asset.
Ken was a founding member of the MN Fire Engine Club (MNFEC) who’s members gathered in Burnsville in the late 1970s to hold a community celebration when Burnsville was a very young City. This allowed families to come see the Fire Trucks up close, talk to former and current fire fighter men and women, and learn about fire trucks and what it’s like to be a fire fighter.
In 1980 this group created the Burnsville Fire Muster & Community Celebration nonprofit. From those humble beginnings, volunteers have operated the event every year.

We will always miss Ken and his passion for Fire Trucks and giving back to the community.
